From Japan to the World —

A Flight of Traditional Beauty

At Studio ONI, world-class creators from Japan, the United States, and Europe come together to transcend cultural and linguistic boundaries — crafting hand-drawn Japanese ink (sumi-e) animation and ink-inspired art with a truly global sensibility.

From hand-painted animation rooted in centuries-old Japanese ink traditions to contemporary visual storytelling, we create experiences that resonate across cultures and generations.

Through the art of animation, we reimagine the timeless spirit of Japanese tradition, sharing its quiet beauty with the world and keeping the flame of culture alive for generations to come.
